14 injured in projectile attacks against Saudi Dhahran

Xinhua, November 11, 2016 Adjust font size:

Around 14 people were injured on Thursday in projectiles fired by Houthi militias in Yemen against southern Saudi city of Dhahran, Al Arabiya local news reported.

The Saudi civil defence announced that 13 Saudi citizens and one expat were injured in the attack that also damaged three houses.

Last week, Saudi artillery responded by directly hitting Houthi targets following similar rocket attacks in the border towns of Jazan and Najran.

The two sides have been clashing near Saudi-Yemeni borders since the beginning of war by Saudi-led coalition against Houthis in Yemen in support of the Yemeni elected government. Endit
