-- Zambian President Edgar Lungu said some African countries are at war because political leaders have failed to respect their constitutional term limits.

Lungu said lack of respect for constitutionalism and the rule of law was a major cause of conflicts and instability in Africa. (Zambia Daily Mail)

-- The Zambian government has advised African governments to allocate more funding to the agriculture sector to spur sustainable economic growth and reduce poverty for the majority of the people.
