Hong Kong stocks close 2.16 pct lower

Hong Kong stocks closed down 494.28 points, or 2.16 percent, to 22,415.19 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 21,957.71 and 23,048.32. Turnover totaled 104.16 billion HK dollars (about 13.43 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
