Egypt's Sisi congratulates Trump, hopes for more stability in Mideast

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi congratulated on Wednesday Donald Trump for his victory in the U.S. presidential elections, said the Egyptian presidency in a statement.

Sisi wished Trump success as the new U.S. president, hoping to enhance Egyptian-U.S. cooperation at all levels.

The Egyptian president also voiced hope that Trump's term would witness more mutual cooperation for the interest of countries as well as enhancing peace and stability in the Middle East.

The statement said Egypt wishes that the U.S. would enjoy more prosperity, stability and development under Trump's leadership.
