Exhibition marking Sun Yat-sen's birthday debuts in China

An exhibition commemorating the 150th birthday of Sun Yat-sen, the "Forerunner of the Revolution," opened in Beijing Tuesday.

The exhibition will run until December 4 in the National Museum of China in downtown Beijing and features 326 historical artifacts and photos, with 72 on display for the first time.

Born in 1866 in Zhongshan in southern China's Guangdong Province, Sun Yat-sen was the founder of the Kuomintang Party, and is a revered revolutionary leader who played a pivotal role in overthrowing imperial rule in China. Endi
