Spanish stock market rises 1.45 pct, closes at 8,918 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.45 percent on Monday to close at 8,918.80 points, up from 8,791.60 points on Friday.

In Monday's session, Viscofan shares led rises climbing 4.62 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, BBVA, Caixabank, Gamesa and Indra A that rose 3.61 percent, 3.13 percent, 2.72 percent, 2.34 percent and 2.22 percent respectively.

However, only Tecnicas Reunidas shares fell, losing 0.05 percent.

Spain's risk premium stood at 112 points at Monday closing time, down from Friday's 113.5 points, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.28 percent, showing no big differences when compared with Friday closing time. Endi
