British FTSE 100 increases 0.41 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday increases by 0.41 percent, or 28.48 points, to 6,986.57 points.

Share price of Barclays increased by 4.79 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Lloyds Banking Group, ITV, Sky and RELX increased by 2.90 percent, 2.81 percent, 2.43 percent and 2.31 percent respectively.

Barratt Developments led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 7.77 percent, following by AstraZeneca (3.40 percent), Wolseley (3.29 percent), Provident Financial (2.53 percent) and British Land Co (2.45 percent). Endit
