Porto eyeing Sao Paulo teenager

Xinhua, October 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

Porto is considering a move to sign highly rated Brazilian teenager David Neres, according to media reports.

The Portuguese outfit has long been tracking the Sao Paulo attacking midfielder, according to the Sambafoot portal.

The 19-year-old's stocks rose on Saturday when he scored in Sao Paulo's 2-0 victory over Ponte Preta in the Brazilian Serie A championship.

Sao Paulo owns 100% of Neres' economic rights, with his current deal due to expire in December 2018.

It is understood the Brazilian side is hoping to secure a deal soon to help pay off its debt. Endit
