Spanish stock market falls 0.83 pct on Tuesday

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.83 percent on Tuesday to close at 9,139.70 points, down from the 9,216.20 points of Monday.

On Tuesday's session, DIA shares led falls losing 6.65 percent, followed by Melia Hotels, Banco Popular, Banco Sabadell, Ferrovial and Grifols that lost 3.23 percent, 2.37 percent, 2.29 percent, 2.07 percent and 1.87 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 1.50 percent, followed by Acerinox, Gamesa, Tecnicas Reunidas, Telefonica and Cellnex that rose 0.68 percent, 0.30 percent, 0.30 percent, 0.17 percent and 0.13 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 108 points, down from the 111 points of Monday's closing time, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.1 percent, showing no big differences when compared with that of Monday. Endit
