The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Tuesday.

-- The Zambian government has pledged to remain consistent in policy implementation to attract more investment in all sectors of the economy.

Minister of Finance Felix Mutati also pledged that the government would control its expenditure to avoid putting pressure on the monetary policy and on foreign reserves. (Daily Nation)

-- Zambia's investment agency is scheduled to undertake a trade mission to neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as part of efforts to enhance trade relations and attract investment.

The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) said it will undertake the trade mission with 30 firms from October 26 to 28, 2016. (Times of Zambia)
