Hong Kong stocks close 0.98 pct higher

Hong Kong stocks closed up 230 points, or 0.98 percent, to 23,604.08 points on Monday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 23,235.61 and 23,620.09. Turnover totaled 74.07 billion HK dollars (about 9.54 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
