British FTSE 100 decreases 0.94 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 0.94 percent, or 66.00 points, to 6,947.55 points.

Share price of Rolls-Royce Holdings increased by 1.18 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Standard Chartered, BT Group, Lloyds Banking Group and Glencore increased by 0.97 percent, 0.89 percent, 0.74 percent and 0.72 percent respectively.

Pearson led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 8.41 percent, following by Admiral Group (3.80 percent), Standard Life (3.71 percent), Hargreaves Lansdown (3.02 percent), Barratt Developments (2.90 percent). Enditem
