Vehicle overturns in California, killing 4

Four people were killed and three others suffered critical injuries when a vehicle overturned near a freeway off-ramp in Pomona, the U.S. state of California, on Saturday.

Another person in the vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash on the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway, on the Reservoir Street off ramp, the California Highway Patrol said.

Firefighters and paramedics dispatched to the scene rushed three people to an area hospital, according to a county fire department dispatcher.

The cause of the crash was not known. Endit
