British FTSE 100 decreases 0.66 pct on Wednesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday decreased by 0.66 percent, or 46.87 points, to 7,024.01 points.

Share price of Glencore increased by 6.44 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Direct Line Insurance Group, Aviva, Centrica and Capita increased by 3.30 percent, 1.90 percent, 1.56 percent and 1.28 percent respectively.

Taylor Wimpey led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 2.71 percent, following by Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC (2.65 percent), Dixons Carphone (2.54 percent), Barclays (2.29 percent) and Royal Bank of Scotland Group (2.27 percent). Endit
