Zhejiang launches safety inspection after residential buildings collapse

East China's Zhejiang Province has launched a safety inspection of potentially dangerous buildings across the province after the fatal collapse of several residential buildings on Monday, according to the provincial housing and urban-rural department.
The inspection will mainly focus on buildings in townships, rural areas, and villages in cities.
The department also ordered local governments to dispatch special personnel to patrol dangerous buildings at regular intervals to avoid any collapses in the future.
Twenty-two people were killed after several residential buildings collapsed early Monday morning in Lucheng industrial district, Wenzhou City.
Six people hospitalized are in stable condition.
The cause of the disaster is under investigation. Endi
