Detroit Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy told reporters Wednesday that guard Reggie Jackson would be out six to eight weeks due to a knee injury, .

"He's also got a bone bruise in there now which would've required him to have some rest, anyway, but the tendinitis is a problem that keeps recurring," said Stan Van Gundy, who told reporters that Jackson is to miss at least the first four preseason games.

Jackson averaged a career-high 18.8 points per game last season. Endit
