Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) killed 12 terrorists that intended to cross into the country from the western province of Kermanshah on Tuesday, IRGC website reported.

The terrorists were killed in the clashes between the IRGC security forces and a team of "terrorists and counter-revolutionary elements" which intended to cause insecurity inside the country, the ground force commander of IRGC, Brig. Gen. Sardar Pakpour, was quoted as saying.

In the operation, three of the IRGC forces were injured, Pakpour said, adding that a sizeable number of ammunition was seized. Endit
