Brazil midfielder Lucas Lima open to China move

Xinhua, October 3, 2016 Adjust font size:

Brazil international midfielder Lucas Lima has revealed he could move to China next year.

The 26-year-old is contracted to Santos until the end of 2017 and, even if he signs a new deal with the Brazilian Serie A club, he could be on his way out.

"If I leave, it has to be good for me and for the club," Lima was quoted as saying by the Sambafoot news portal.

"It's my home, I have friends here. There's a chance [of going to China], but I will analyze it. I believe that if I renew, there will be an exit clause that is good for both sides."

Lima, who has been capped 12 times for Brazil, has also been linked with Bayern Munich, Napoli and Porto. Endit
