Chinese president's envoy to attend Ethiopia-Djibouti railway opening ceremony

Chinese President Xi Jinping's envoy will attend the opening ceremony of a railway linking Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital, and Djibouti on October 5, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Friday.

Xu Shaoshi, head of the National Development and Reform Commission, will go to Ethiopia at the invitation of the Ethiopian government,spokesperson Geng Shuang said. Endi
