Spanish stock market rises 0.64 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.64 percent on Thursday to close at 8,796.30 points, up from the 8,740.40 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session, Repsol shares led rises climbing 3.73 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, Tecnicas Reunidas, Ferrovial, Bankia and Mapfre that rose 2.42 percent, 2.19 percent, 2.05 percent, 2 percent and 1.88 percent respectively.

On the other hand, IAG shares led falls losing 1.43 percent, followed by Banco Popular, Mediaset, Amadeus, Melia Hotels and Grifols that lost 0.91 percent, 0.66 percent, 0.50 percent, 0.45 percent and 0.44 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 104.60 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 0.9 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Wednesday closing time. Endit
