Spanish stock market rises 0.60 pct, closes at 8,740 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.60 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,740.40 points, up from the 8,688.20 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, Tecnicas Reunidas shares led rises climbing 5.93 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, Merlin, Viscofan, Banco Santander and Mapfre that rose 1.74 percent, 1.46 percent, 1.34 percent, 1.30 percent and 1.27 percent respectively.

On the other hand, DIA shares led falls losing 2.08 percent, followed by Banco Popular, Indra A, AENA, Abertis A and Cellnex that lost 2.06 percent, 1.67 percent, 1.33 percent, 1.23 percent and 1.16 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 105.70 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 0.9 percent, both showing no big differences when being compared with Tuesday closing time. Endit
