U.S. dollar rises against most major currencies

The U.S. dollar increased against most major currencies on Tuesday as investors were awaiting the outcome of Federal Reserve meeting due to conclude on Wednesday.

In late New York trading, the euro fell to 1.1161 dollars from 1.1175 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 101.83 Japanese yen, higher than 101.79 yen in the previous session. Enditem
