1st LD: 14 killed, 25 injured in blast at mosque in N.W. Pakistan

At least 14 people were killed and 25 others injured when a bomb went off inside a mosque in Pakistan's northwestern tribal area of Mohmand Agency on Friday afternoon, local Urdu media reported.

The Aaj News reported that the explosion happened during Friday prayers in Amber town located near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

Nature of the blast has not been determined yet. The injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital.

No group has claimed the attack yet. Local police has cordoned off the area for investigations. Endit
