Xinhua, September 16, 2016 Adjust font size:

Nigeria's female U20 soccer team will open a camp in Abuja later this month to tune up for the FIFA World Cup to be hosted by Papua New Guinea in November.

General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation Mohammed Sanusi told Xinhua on Friday that the team, officially called Falconets, will open camp in less than two weeks for the World Cup.

The coaching crew led by Peter Dedevbo has already submitted plans for the team's camping and the football federation is also fine-tuning its arrangements for the competition.

Nigeria and Ghana will represent Africa at the 8th female U20 World Cup scheduled between Nov. 13 and Dec. 3.

Nigeria won silver medal at the 2014 edition held in Canada. Endit
