British FTSE 100 rises 0.12 pct on Wednesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday rose by 0.12 percent, or 7.68 points, to 6,673.31 points.

Share price of Anglo American increased by 2.53 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Glencore, RSA Insurance Group, Hikma Pharmaceuticals and Admiral Group increased by 2.49 percent, 2.23 percent, 2.00 percent and 1.75 percent respectively.

EasyJet led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.23 percent, following by Taylor Wimpey (2.35 percent), Persimmon (2.35 percent), Marks & Spencer Group (2.13 percent) and Burberry Group (2.12 percent). Endit
