China's Hubei appoints acting governor

The local legislature of central China's Hubei Province appointed Wang Xiaodong as acting governor of the province on Wednesday.
Wang, 56, is a native of neighboring Jiangxi province, according to the official website of the Hubei provincial government.p He worked in the provincial governments of Jiangxi and Guizhou before moving to Hubei in 2012. He was vice governor and vice Party chief before this appointment.
The session accepted the resignation of governor Wang Guosheng, who was appointed secretary of the CPC Qinghai Provincial Committee and a member of the CPC Qinghai Provincial Committee as well as its Standing Committee. Endi
