China urges related parties in Syria to implement ceasefire agreement

China has urged all related parties in Syria to implement the ceasefire agreement and improve the situation in the country, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said Monday.

Hua Chunying said that China welcomes the fact that Russia and the United States have reached a ceasefire agreement on Syria, saying that it is an important precondition for a political settlement.

Hua said that China calls on the international community to support the ceasefire agreement and create favorable conditions for resuming peace talks. Endi
