Dollar changes hands in lower 102 yen range in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 102 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, edging slightly lower from its levels seen in New York overnight.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 102.32-35 yen compared with 102.44-54 yen in New York and 101.59-60 yen at 5 p.m. Thursday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1267-1268 dollars and 115.28-29 yen against 1.1256-1266 dollars and 115.32-42 yen in New York and 1.1268-1269 dollars and 114.47-51 yen in late trade in Tokyo on Thursday afternoon. Endit
