An international energy industry expo opened on Wednesday in north China's Shanxi province, focusing on the green development of the coal industry.

The China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Expo attracted 368 companies and institutions from more than 20 countries and regions.

An energy and low carbon development forum was held on Wednesday. Experts and entrepreneurs shared their views on innovation-driven development and clean coal.
