China coach Gao keeps low key after goalless draw with Iran

Xinhua, September 7, 2016 Adjust font size:

After getting one point in Shenyang against Asian top ranked Iran on Tuesday night, China coach Gao Hongbo said that China is the weakest team in the final round of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Asian Zone qualifying campaign.

"Our team is the last one getting into this round. All the other teams are tough for us," the 50-year-old Gao told the post-match press conference. "But I am satisfied that the players fought to the end."

Gao confirmed the progress of his team, saying, "We have improved our defense, thanks to everyone in our team." Enditem
