Queiroz wishes both Iran and China success in World Cup qualifying campaign

Iran coach Carlos Quieroz on Tuesday expressed his hope that both Iran and China could qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals.

After the 0-0 draw here on Tuesday night, Quieroz told the press conference, "I hope Iran and China can enter the World Cup finals side by side."

The 63-year-old Queiroz regarded the match as a high-level competition. "I am a little pity for only get one point tonight. Our performance are fantastic. We created more chances in the game."

The former Manchester United assistant admitted, "Chinese forward No. 9 (Zhang Yuning) gave us headache. He is full of passion. I believe Syria and South Korea will also get in trouble in China." Enditem
