The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Tuesday.

-- Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalgen stressed Monday that the collaboration of the various stakeholders in South Sudan's peace process is crucial to bring peace and stability in the country.

-- Ethiopia's inflation slowed to 5.9 percent in August from 6.0 percent the previous month, thanks to a slower rise in non-food prices, official data released on Monday showed.
