Urgent: World economy can't rely merely on fiscal, monetary policies: Xi

Chinese President Xi Jinping told reporters on Monday that merely relying on fiscal and monetary policies does not work for the world economy.

"We are determined to break a new path for growth to inject new vitality into the world economy," Xi said at a press conference after the Group of 20 (G20) summit concluded in Hangzhou.
