Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto said in a written interview that his country hails China as a global economic power and stated that "our priority is to strengthen bilateral relations."

In terms of the G20, he said, this forum allows for privileged dialogue to drive forward important topics such as economic growth, the promotion of a solid and resilient global financial system, sustainable development, free trade, energy efficiency, food security, the fight against corruption and the mitigation of climate change. CAIRO -- Egyptian economists and businessmen stressed the G20 summit being held in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou will help Egypt attract more investments to revive its ailing economy.

BUENOS AIRES -- The Vice-President of Argentina's Industrial Union, Daniel Funes de Rioja, hailed China's role in the fight against poverty on Sunday during the Business 20 (B20) summit in Hangzhou.

"Globalization and growing interconnectivity between countries and regions do not only stimulate growth and create jobs, but also contribute to development and to greater inclusion," added Funes de Rioja.

LONDON -- The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Jeffrey Mountevans, said the G20 summit held in Hangzhou is very important, and that he expects China to play an important role in promoting global economic growth.
