China's Hunan names acting governor

The local legislature in central China's Hunan Province appointed Xu Dazhe as acting governor of the province Monday.

Xu was also named deputy governor of the province at a session of the Standing Committee of the Hunan People's Congress.

The session accepted the resignation of governor Du Jiahao, who was recently appointed secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Hunan Provincial Committee by the CPC Central Committee. Endi
