Tsonga tops Anderson into fourth round

Xinhua, September 3, 2016 Adjust font size:

No. 9-seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga cruised past Kevin Anderson of South Africa 6-3, 6-4, 7-6, to ease into the Round of 16 here on Friday.

The Frenchman finally earned a match point on his own serve, and closed things out with a strong serve that put him into the last 16.

"I feel great. I just played good tennis today. I'm really happy. I hope I can continue this way. It's a long way to go through the draw, but I'll take each match as good as possible and try to increase my tennis," said Tsonga. Endit
