Indonesian President Joko Widodo will raise issues of economic expansion and political stability in the upcoming G20 summit in China's Hangzhou, Indonesian foreign minister said on Friday.
Widodo expected that the outcome of G20 summit will stimulate the slowing global economy, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said in a statement.
Retno said that the Indonesian government expected a fair global trade.
"The president expects more measures on infrastructure investment, because it has been proven that better infrastructure will contribute to economic growth," she added.
In a business forum, the president will explain about Indonesia's newly issued economic stimulus packages, Retno said.
Indonesia is consistent to its efforts to establish open and competitive economy, she added.
The G20 summit is held amid the slowing expectation on the global GDP growth as the IMF and the World Bank have revised downward their estimates on growths this year and next year. Enditem
