Singapore stocks close 0.15 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 4.12 points, or 0.15 percent, to close at 2,816.47.

A total of 987.1 million shares changed hands with turnover of 851.3 million Singapore dollars (624.4 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 218 to 154, while 536 others finished unchanged.

The STI index lost 7.80 points, or 0.28 percent, to close at 2,820.59 on Wednesday. Enditem
