Mitchell Weiser extends contract with Hertha Berlin

Mitchell Weiser have extended his current contract ahead of schedule, the Bundesliga club confirmed on Friday.

The 22-year-old versatile defender, who joined from German record champions Bayern Munich in the summer 2015, agreed on a contract extension until June 2020.

After Weiser's transfer from the "Bavarians" he made an immediate impact at Hertha Berlin after providing two goals and five assists in overall 29 Bundesliga encounters.

The "Herthaner" clash with newly promoted Freiburg to complete the first round in Bundesliga on Sunday. Endit
