Spanish stock market rises 1.33 pct on Tuesday

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.33 percent on Tuesday to close at 8,580.90 points, up from the 8,468 points of Monday.

On Tuesday's session, Banco Popular shares led rises climbing 3.13 percent, followed by Banco Santander, Mapfre, Inditex, ArcelorMittal and Mediaset that rose 2.84 percent, 2.65 percent, 2.60 percent, 2.05 percent and 2.05 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Viscofan shares led falls losing 0.32 percent, followed by Grifols, REC and Amadeus that lost 0.28 percent, 0.23 percent and 0.21 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 102.90 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 0.9 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Monday's closing time. Endit
