The Vietnam International Fashion Week (VIFW) for autumn-winter season will be held for the first time in Vietnam's capital Hanoi in November.

The event will come to Hanoi for the first time after being held annually in southern Ho Chi Minh City for three years, according to organizers on Monday.

VIFW Hanoi will feature latest collections by domestic and foreign designers, offering opportunities for them to develop brand names, Vietnam's state-run news agency cited VIFW founder Le Thi Quynh Trang as saying.

The VIFW in Vietnam has introduced collections of Japanese wedding-dress designer Yumi Katsura, Song Zio from South Korea, Italian Renato Balestra and French designer Julien Fournie, among others. Endit
