Sports: Shanghai SIPG's Gyan return to lead Ghana''s AFCON qualifier

Shanghai SIPG's striker Asamoah Gyan returns from injury to lead the Ghana Black Stars squad to face Rwanda in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.

The head coach of the Black Stars Avram Grant Saturday named a 23-man squad for the qualifier scheduled to be played early next month.

Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey also returns to the squad while Richard Ofori of Wa All Stars and Kadri Mohammed who plays for defending Ghana league champion Ashantigold also earned a call-up in the final qualifier against the Amavubi.

Ghana has already qualified for next month' s tournament having amassed 13 points so far from 5 games played.

Rwanda is in second place with 6 points.
