Senior Chinese, U.S. officials discuss economic issues over phone

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang on Friday exchanged views by phone with U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew on economic relations between the two countries and issues of common concern.

Wang and Lew have held several phone talks so far this year on bilateral ties, issues of common concern and the upcoming summit of the Group of 20 (G20).

This year's G20 summit is scheduled to be held in east China's Hangzhou city on Sept. 4-5, the first time for China to host the event. Endi
