A Taliban key commander Qari Zabihullah is among 19 militants have been killed in the northern Kunduz province on Wednesday, Interior Ministry said in a statement released here.

CONAKRY -- Violence broke out during Tuesday's protests by Guinean opposition parties in the capital Conakry, leaving one person dead and two others seriously injured after being shot at by police, civil society sources said.

BERLIN -- German police have arrested a 27-year-old man who allegedly planned a bomb attack later this month, German media reported on Wednesday.
