Dollar changes hands in lower 101 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 101 yen zone in early trade on Wednesday in Tokyo, marginally higher than levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets here opened, the dollar was quoted at 101.07-08 yen compared with 100.85-95 yen in New York and 101.66-68 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1218-1218 dollars and 113.39-41 yen against 1.1220-1230 dollars and 113.21-31 yen in New York and 1.1199-1201 dollars and 113.85-89 yen in late trade on Tuesday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
