U.S. dollar slumps against other major currencies

The U.S. dollar decreased against other major currencies on Tuesday as economic data from the country came out worse than expected.

In late New York trading, the euro climbed to 1.1232 dollars from 1.1169 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 100.79 Japanese yen, lower than 102.31 in the previous session. Enditem
