Xinhua, July 28, 2016 Adjust font size:

The Albanian government is trying to create a positive business climate through justice reform by cracking down on corruption in the justice system, Albania's Deputy Prime Minister Niko Peleshi declared at a press conference Thursday.

According to Peleshi, the reformed justice system will directly increase legal certainty. He noted there had been an increase of interest among private investors which confirmed investors were regaining trust in Albania and its justice system.

The deputy prime minister also presented the decisions approved by the National Territory Council which according to him paved the way for a series of investments totaling about 250 million euros (277 million U.S. dollars) and create about 2,800 new jobs.

These jobs are expected to be created in sectors such as hydro power, renewable energies, electricity generation photovoltaic systems, and tourism. Endit
