Al Ahly beats Wydad Casablanca in CAF Champions League

Egyptian giants Al Ahly beat on Wednesday in the Moroccan city of Rabat Wydad Casablanca in CAF Champions League.

Al Ahly scored the sole goal of this game by defender Rami Rabia in the 47th minute to keep their hopes of progressing to the semi-finals of this African competition.

After this win, Moroccans remained at the top spot on seven points but was joined by Zambian team Zesco United.

Al Ahly also joined Cote d'Ivore ASEC Mimosas to the third place on four points.

Earlier today, Zesco United and ASEC draw on 1-1.

Only the group winners and runners-up qualify for the semi-finals. Endit
