Spanish stock market falls 0.18 pct, closes at 8,560 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 fell 0.18 percent on Tuesday to close at 8,560.20 points, down from the 8,575.70 points of Monday.

On Tuesday session, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 3.70 percent, followed by Bankia, Repsol, Tecnicas Reunidas, Banco Santander and BBVA that lost 2.46 percent, 1.87 percent, 1.80 percent, 0.92 percent and 0.85 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 2.67 percent, followed by Ferrovial, Acerinox, Banco Sabadell, Gas Natural and ACS that rose 2.04 percent, 1.64 percent, 1.10 percent, 1.02 percent and 0.98 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 113.90 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.11 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Monday. Endit
