Military chopper crashes in Yemen, two Saudi pilots killed

Xinhua, July 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

The Saudi-led coalition against Houthis in Yemen said on Monday two Saudi pilots were killed when their military chopper crashed in Yemen due to bad weather, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The accident took place when the chopper was in an operational mission in Yemeni city Ma'rib, the coalition said in a statement.

Many pilots and copilots of the coalition died in similar mishaps since the beginning of airstrike against Houthis in Yemen on March 26.

The incident was announced hours after five Saudi border guards were killed while foiling infiltration attempt in Saudi-Yemeni border city Najran. Endit
